They cause a stroke slowly and imperceptibly: 7 morning mistakes almost everyone makes.

Mistake #3. Skipping breakfast

Many people start their day with a simple coffee and the thought, “I can’t eat this morning.” But the body perceives things differently. Without energy, blood sugar drops, the mind becomes foggy, and the pressure on the cardiovascular system increases.

And the solution is simple: no need for a large menu.  A few bites are enough: a piece of whole-wheat bread with cheese, oatmeal with fruit, or even a hard-boiled egg. The important thing is not the complexity of the food, but its consistency: every morning, the body receives a “start signal.”

Mistake #4. Salty as soon as you wake up

Some people start their day with sausage, cheese, or pickles. At first glance, this seems normal, but it’s a real challenge for the blood vessels. Salt retains fluids, increases blood volume, and puts a strain on the heart. So the morning starts like a ticking time bomb.

A healthier option:  Limit salt and opt for fresh or dried herbs (parsley, dill, basil, oregano, savory). They enhance the flavor and aroma of dishes without overpowering them.

Mistake #5. Smoking right after bed

Many smokers light up their first cigarette as soon as their eyes open. But this is when the effects on the body are most dangerous: blood vessels suddenly constrict, blood pressure rises, and blood becomes more likely to clot. Combined with coffee on an empty stomach, this phenomenon poses a serious risk to the brain and heart.

Best option:  The healthiest solution is to quit smoking completely. If you’re not ready yet, at least avoid smoking for an hour or two after waking up.

Mistake #6. Lack of movement after waking up

Many people wake up, eat breakfast, and immediately get into their car or computer. This causes blood to pool, and the risk of blood clots gradually increases.

What’s better: take at least a few minutes to move. Gentle stretches, a few bends, and circular movements of the shoulders and neck are enough to wake up your body and activate your blood circulation.
