NEVER TAKE A BATH AT THIS TIME OF DAY AFTER 70. IT CAN BE FATAL!
3. Potential for reactivation of hepatitis
Some adults carry the latent hepatitis B or C virus. The sudden change in body temperature after a morning bath can stress the immune system. Although rare, such stress can weaken the immune system and activate the virus, leading to liver inflammation.
4. Additional burden in case of cirrhosis
In people already suffering from cirrhosis, sudden exposure to hot water in the morning can worsen their condition. Cirrhotic patients often experience blood clotting problems, low albumin levels, and difficulty detoxifying. The circulatory shock caused by bathing can worsen edema and fatigue, and even increase the risk of complications such as hepatic encephalopathy.
5. Gallbladder and bile duct problems
The liver works closely with the gallbladder to produce and regulate bile. Taking a morning shower with very hot or cold water can disrupt the natural rhythm of bile secretion. Over time, this can aggravate gallstones or biliary tract diseases, which are common in older adults and directly related to liver function.
