Homemade condensed milk with 2 ingredients: a simple and delicious recipe.
A practical and tasty alternative to commercially produced condensed milk.
Homemade condensed milk is an excellent option for those looking for a more natural and flavorful ingredient in their recipes. And the best part is, you only need two ingredients: milk and sugar!
Ingredients:
1 cup whole milk (240ml)
1 cup sugar (200g)
Equipment: Mix the ingredients: In a saucepan, place the milk and sugar. Mix well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Simmer: Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and simmer, stirring constantly, for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the liquid thickens to a creamy consistency. Caution: Do not let it burn, as it may become bitter.
Check the consistency: To confirm that the condensed milk is on the list, pass a spoonful of madeira into the bottom of the sauce. A chimney is formed that does not close quickly, that’s it.
Cool: Remove the cap of the fire and let the condensed heat cool completely before using it.
