Cyril Lignac’s meatballs

Preparation Steps
1. Prepare the Sauce
Preheat the oven to 170°C (325°F). In a saucepan, heat the olive oil and add the chopped onion. Sauté until softened but not browned.
Add the chopped tomatoes, thyme, crushed garlic, and chopped basil. Simmer over low heat for 45 minutes.

2. Prepare the Meatballs
In a bowl, combine the two meats with the Parmesan cheese, eggs, ricotta cheese, parsley, and well-drained breadcrumbs.
Season with salt and pepper, then shape into balls by hand.

3. Cook the Dumplings
In a hot pan, pour a drizzle of olive oil and brown the meatballs on all sides.
