Max seemed apologetic. “I’m so sorry, Lisa. This was unexpected. It will take longer, so I don’t think I’ll be able to get away tomorrow.”
The journey continues, marked by a mixture of concern for Max’s father and the flooded house, and disappointment for Lisa, whose plans have been disrupted.
At the red light, Lisa decides to get out of Max’s car. “I think I’ll get out here,” she says firmly.
“What’s wrong? Why?” asked Max, surprised.
“I need time to think. You have to take care of your house,” Lisa replied, heading towards the bustling city.

Lisa walked briskly, her thoughts confused, and decided to visit her parents. At their home, she recounted the events of the evening, expressing her distress and sorrow.
“Why don’t you pay Max a surprise visit? It might help. All couples argue, darling,” suggested Tom, her father.
“I don’t know where he lives,” Lisa admitted, embarrassed.
