A woman visits her boyfriend to surprise him; his wife, whose existence she was unaware of, answers the door – Story of the day

Lisa decides to surprise her boyfriend, Max, and ends up on the doorstep of his wife, Kate. The two women team up to get revenge on Max, but as their plan unfolds, Lisa finds herself caught in a new web of deceit.

As the sun sets over the city, Lisa, a 28-year-old lawyer, leaves her office to pick up her fiancé, Max, who is waiting for her by his car with a bouquet. Although their relationship was only three months old, it was already deep, and they were soon to be married.

“This is for you,” smiled Max, handing the flowers to Lisa.

“Thank you! They are magnificent,” replied Lisa, her eyes lighting up.

As they settled into his car, Max turned to Lisa, his eyes filled with pride and affection. “Let me see the engagement ring again,” he said playfully. “I want to see how well it looks on you.”

As Lisa reached out, Max noticed an old ring on one of her fingers. “What’s that other ring?” he asked.

“It’s a family heirloom,” explains Lisa.

“She looks very expensive,” he said as they drove away.

Lisa nodded, a hint of pride in her voice. “Yes, it has value, but it’s precious to me as a memory.”
