Step 1: Prepare the apples

 

Peel and cut the apples into thin slices.

 

Sprinkle the apples with the juice of half a lemon to prevent them from oxidizing.

 

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and cook over high heat for a few minutes until lightly caramelized.

 

Step 2: Mix the liquid ingredients

 

In a bowl, beat 2 eggs with a pinch of salt and vanilla essence.

 

Add 120g of sugar and continue beating until the mixture is frothy.

 

Step 3: Add the dry ingredients

 

Add 100 ml of seed oil and 50 ml of milk to the egg and sugar mixture.

 

Add 180g of sifted flour and 10g of baking powder.

 

Mix until smooth.
