What you eat could promote lung cancer, study finds

Eat better to protect yourself better

This study isn’t meant to instill guilt. Rather, it offers a  new opportunity  : to regain control over your health by adjusting your diet. Cutting back on sugar-rich products, ultra-processed foods, or saturated fats could make a real difference, especially for those already at risk.

Today, it’s no longer just about preventing obesity or diabetes. It’s also about  limiting  the onset or progression of certain cancers , including lung cancer. And even if other factors, such as smoking or genetics, come into play, eating better remains a simple, accessible, and potentially life-saving action.

At a time when scientific discoveries are accelerating, it is essential that these advances quickly translate into  concrete actions . The contents of our plates deserve to be carefully rethought. For our immediate well-being… and for our future.
