Sauteed Noodles with Garlic, Butter, Beef and Shrimp

1. Cook the noodles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually between 4 and 6 minutes. Once cooked, drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
2. Prepare the beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
3. Cook the shrimp: In the same pan, add a little more butter if necessary and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and are fully cooked. Remove the shrimp and set aside with the meat.
4. Sauté the vegetables: In the same pan, add the minced garlic and bell peppers. Sauté for 2 minutes, or until the peppers are crisp-tender.
5. Mix everything together: Return the beef and shrimp to the pan. Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix everything well and cook for 2-3 more minutes, making sure everything is well combined and heated through.
6. Serve: Remove from heat and top with chopped chives. Serve hot and enjoy this delicious, flavorful dish.
