Push cloves into garlic cloves. This trick deserves a medal.

  • Insert the Cloves:
Insert 1 to 2 cloves into each garlic clove. This will allow the essential oils from the cloves to slowly diffuse into the garlic, creating an effective synergy between the two ingredients.

  • Add Water:
Place the garlic and cloves in a glass jar. Add about 500 ml of water (preferably distilled or filtered water) to allow the essential oils to blend and release their properties.

  • Let Infuse:
Close the jar and let the mixture infuse for 24 to 48 hours at room temperature. This infusion time will allow the garlic and cloves to release all their repellent properties.

  • Strain the Blend:
After brewing, strain the liquid through a filter or colander to remove the garlic pieces and cloves.

  • Directions:
Pour the strained liquid into a spray bottle. Spray this natural repellent generously in corners of your home, around windows, doors, and in areas where you’ve noticed insects. You can also apply it to plants in your garden to keep pests away.

Other Applications of this Natural Repellent:

1. As a Mosquito Repellent Spray:

Spray directly onto your skin or clothing to repel mosquitoes. The scent of garlic and cloves is enough to deter mosquitoes without the need for chemicals like DEET, which is found in many commercial repellents.
