When a woman woke up to find something in her backyard that completely baffled her, she searched online for answers. The object looked downright “alien” to her: it had an elongated skull and a narrow torso, as well as long, cane-like limbs sticking out in place of arms and legs.

At first, she thought it was a mushroom, but she quickly dismissed the idea and asked friends for advice. Finding themselves at a loss, the woman posted her question on Reddit to find out what the object was.
