I put on gloves and began carefully digging into the soil. The balls turned out to be soft and slightly elastic, almost like jelly. The sensation gave me chills. The thought crossed my mind that they might be eggs. But what? Birds? Insects?
I took my find home, held it up to the light, and began to examine it more closely. Some of the balls had small black dots visible. My curiosity got the better of me; I looked for information on the internet, and that’s when I figured out what it was…😲😲
It turned out to be snail caviar.🐌
