“I need backup!”
Oscar was surprised by the expert’s reaction. He had never seen anyone so scared. He watched him stumble away, his hands shaking, his face ashen. He was muttering something about a creature, but Oscar didn’t understand what he was saying. He was too far away. Oscar felt a shiver run down his spine as he saw the expert disappear into the darkness.
Inspection
Oscar watched the team carefully inspect each egg, taking their time to make sure they hadn’t missed anything. He could see they were trying to figure out what was wrong. He could see the concern in their eyes as they discussed the problem. They were all searching for a solution, but they seemed lost. The team paused their inspection and gathered around to talk. Oscar was trying to hear them, but he couldn’t understand what they were saying.
No one was allowed in anymore, which left Oscar, Hilly, and Lily in a terrible state. Everyone already knew there was something strange about these eggs, but no one would explain what it was… The atmosphere in the room was tense and heavy, as if the air itself was trying to keep the eggs secret.
Oscar, Hilly, and Lily looked at each other, their eyes wide with fear and confusion. They had no idea what was going on, and the silence was almost unbearable. The scientists had left with the eggs, but the room was still permeated with an eerie atmosphere.
Call the police
Finally, the team decided to call the police! Oscar was shocked! Was it that bad? Did they really need the police? He had never seen any police officers in his neighborhood and now feared for his innocence! He knew it wasn’t his fault, but the very idea of police officers terrified him.
Oscar’s heart pounded as he heard sirens in the distance. A chill ran through him as he saw the police cars arrive on the scene. He saw the officers get out of their vehicles, their uniforms and badges gleaming in the sunlight. He felt the tension rise as the officers began questioning the team.
Oscar demanded answers
Oscar firmly demanded an answer from the police officers. But while he was speaking to them, all the officers did something Oscar hadn’t expected. They stepped back and, surprised, said, “Sir, stay there. You must lie down on the ground and not move!”
Airport
After a two-hour journey, they arrived at their destination, an airport. Oscar was distraught, wondering what was going on. Suddenly, he was escorted to a waiting helicopter and whisked away. He had no idea where they were going or why, but fear and uncertainty made his heart race. The sun was setting when they took off.
Oscar surveyed the landscape before him, passing from rolling hills to sprawling cities. He saw city lights twinkling in the distance and stars slowly appearing in the night sky. The wind howled around the helicopter, and Oscar felt a chill run down his spine. He was filled with a sense of wonder and awe as he watched the world pass by beneath him.
“Where is my daughter?”
“Where are my daughter and wife?” he tried to ask. His voice was barely louder than the sound of the helicopter’s propeller. He was strapped in and wearing hearing protection, but there was no sign of the other car with Hilly and Lily. “Where are you taking me?” he tried again, but no one answered.
In a cage
As soon as the helicopter landed, another team of men in white suits arrived and took Oscar by the arms. They took him to a nearby building and locked him in a cell. This hostile, sterile environment made him feel isolated and trapped. Why had they brought him here, and what would happen to him?
Oscar wants information about his family.
Oscar’s first concern was for his family, especially his daughter Lily. Before Alex could say anything else, Oscar aggressively demanded to know where they had been taken. But Alex remained strangely silent, looking at him worriedly, hesitating before speaking. Finally, he sighed, looked down, and said, “I have something to tell you…”
Oscar’s heart pounded as he imagined the worst-case scenarios. He had to stay strong for his family, but terror overwhelmed him. He clenched his fists and took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. He looked Alex in the eyes and said, “Tell me what happened.” Alex paused, then began to explain.
