Fatigue and these 2 common nighttime symptoms could be a sign of cancer, according to a doctor.

The second symptom to watch for is nighttime bone pain. This isn’t a minor annoyance due to age or posture, but pain that:

  • occur especially at the end of the night,

  • do not disappear when changing posture,

  • are located in certain areas such as the pelvis, spine or legs, especially the thighs.

This type of pain, especially if it wakes you up at night and is accompanied by extreme fatigue in the morning, can be the first sign of serious bone diseases such as multiple myeloma, secondary bone metastases, or certain types of leukemia. Think of the body like an old building: a small crack may seem harmless until it reveals a more serious problem. In the same way, these pains are a warning signal that should not be ignored.
