If you happen to meet such a person in real life – be it a colleague, acquaintance, or even a relative – don’t try to “re-educate” them. This will only ruin your mood.
Instead, ask yourself, “What does this interaction give me? Maybe it’s time to minimize it?”
And it’s useful to remember that someone else’s limitations shouldn’t become your burden. If you encounter a person who doesn’t feel ashamed of their actions and words, think about whether it’s worth wasting your time on them.
Sometimes the best solution is to just walk away. No explanations, no arguments, no desire to “open your eyes.” Because, as another wise person said:
“The best way to win an argument is to not get into one at all.”
And it’s hard to disagree with that.
So, if you happen to meet such a person, boldly walk past them. Your nerves are more valuable.
