The natural trick that makes all the difference
The winning duo for a spotless window? Baking soda and white vinegar. Together, they form a formidable paste against stubborn stains.
In a bowl, mix 4 to 5 tablespoons of baking soda with a little white vinegar until you obtain a smooth, thick consistency, similar to a dessert cream. Spread this mixture generously on the cold oven door, paying particular attention to the dirtiest areas. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes, then gently rub with a non-abrasive sponge or microfiber cloth. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly: the result is amazing.
Stubborn stains: how to get rid of them.
If some stains persist, there’s an additional trick. Warm the oven slightly, to around 40 to 50°C maximum, then turn it off. The heat will soften the dirt and make it easier to remove. It’s essential to wait until the door is just lukewarm, never hot, before cleaning.
For a quick clean, a little dishwashing liquid diluted in hot water can also help, provided you rinse thoroughly to avoid any residue.
