Crispy Cheese Sticks
🍳 Cooking: Fried or baked
👉 Fried version (more delicious)
1. Heat plenty of seed oil in a high-sided pan or deep fryer, bringing it to 175-180°C (do the toothpick test: if it sizzles, the oil is ready).
2. Fry a few sticks at a time, turning them gently, until golden brown and crispy on all sides (about 1 minute per side).
3. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
👉 Baked version (lighter)
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C static.
2. Place the sticks on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
3. Brush with a drizzle of oil or use a spray oil for a more golden effect.
4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through. For extra crispiness, finish with 2-3 minutes under the broiler.
