Ingredients
1 apple, peeled, cored, and grated
Juice of half a lemon
1 egg
8g vanilla sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp sugar
200ml milk
2 tbsp oil
160g flour
8g baking powder
Instructions
Prepare the apple:
Peel, core, and grate the apple.
Mix the grated apple with the juice of half a lemon to prevent browning and give it a fresh flavor. Set aside.
Mix the wet ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, and 2 tbsp sugar until well blended.
Add the milk and oil to the egg mixture, whisking until smooth.
Mix the dry ingredients:
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well incorporated. Do not overmix.
