Doctor: Here is the main symptom of diabetes that occurs at night:

The symptoms of diabetes can be subtle, meaning that many people can live with the disease for many years without even realizing it.

The main symptom of diabetes is nocturnal

One of the most common signs is frequent urination, especially at night.

“The need to urinate at night is considered normal. Frequent urges to urinate may indicate another health problem. High blood sugar levels can lead to excess glucose being excreted in the urine. In this case, an increased amount of sugar appears in the urine, which stimulates additional urine production,” explains Russian physician Dr. Tatiana Zakharova.

Other symptoms include constant thirst, fatigue, unexplained weight loss, blurred vision, slow healing of cuts, and recurrent genital itching or thrush.

Diabetes is currently one of the ten leading causes of death. A high BMI (body mass index) has been identified as a major risk factor, responsible for more than half (52%) of deaths and disabilities. This is followed by poor diet, environmental and occupational hazards, smoking, lack of physical activity, and alcohol consumption.
