Warning! This sign indicates high cholesterol.

High blood cholesterol levels are generally considered asymptomatic. However, there are some signs. For example, the formation of xanthomas (fatty deposits) on the body cannot be ignored.

As reported by Pronews.gr, citing scientists, these deposits are a visible indicator of lipid metabolism disorders.

“They warn of underlying health problems such as high cholesterol or triglycerides,” the experts note, explaining that the body needs to break down and eliminate excess cholesterol, which causes fat to build up under the skin.

The formation of xanthomas, which appear mainly on the elbows, knees, feet and around the eyes, is a reason to check your cholesterol.
