Most often, this cancer causes no symptoms at first. But as it progresses, certain signs may appear:
Bleeding outside of menstruation, after sexual intercourse, or after menopause.
Unusual vaginal discharge: heavy, smelly, or abnormally colored.
Persistent pelvic or lumbar pain, not related to the menstrual cycle.
Discomfort or bleeding during sexual intercourse.
Urinary problems: sensation of incomplete emptying or presence of blood in the urine.
If you notice any of these symptoms, it is important to consult your gynecologist promptly.
