Born in Târgoviște on May 17, 2005, Luca Manolache quickly revealed himself as a football prodigy. Trained at Kinder Târgoviște before joining the Prosport Academy, he then landed a contract with the prestigious FCSB, the most successful club in Romania . His debut in Liga I took place against CFR Cluj on May 22, 2022 (3-1 victory). To gain playing time, he was loaned to Chindia Târgoviște and then to Metaloglobus București in the second division. Regularly selected for the national youth teams (U15 to U19), he has 15 caps to his name.
The worrying appearance of unexplained symptoms

On February 28, 2025, while sharing a moment with relatives near a gas station in Târgoviște, his condition deteriorated abruptly. Seized by bloody vomiting, he was rushed to the local hospital. During the journey, in a poignant call to his mother, Ana, he expressed his anguish about death. Despite intensive care, doctors were unable to save him before his family arrived.
Post-mortem revelations: an exceptional vascular complication
The autopsy revealed a torn aorta that caused catastrophic hemorrhage. This trauma caused gastric acid to back up into the lungs, causing internal asphyxia . The tests also revealed severe pneumonia, which worsened the prognosis. These medical findings illustrate the exceptional and complex nature of this pathology.
