Herbs & Garnish:
ΒΌ cup fresh basil leaves, finely chopped (plus extra for garnish)
1 tsp dried oregano (optional)
1β2 tbsp grated Parmesan or crumbled feta (optional)
Chili flakes (optional, for heat)

1. Prepare Tomato Mixture:
In a bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes (if using), minced garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.
Add chopped fresh basil and oregano. Stir gently to mix.
Let it sit for 10β15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
2. Toast the Bread:
Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C), or heat a grill pan.
Slice bread into Β½-inch thick slices.
Brush one side of each slice with olive oil.
Toast in oven (5β7 minutes), grill pan, or under broiler until golden and crisp.
While warm, rub the oiled side of bread with cut garlic halves for aroma.
